Surrounded by coffee and macadamia nut trees, this private sanctuary is just a short 12-minute drive to the pristine sands of Magic Sands Beach and 12 minutes to vibrant downtown Kailua-Kona.

The Space
Aolani Coffee Cottage has been featured in Airbnb Magazine and Condé Nast Traveler, celebrated as part of the extraordinary escapes curated by world-renowned artist Anna Sweet. Built by the craftsmen behind the Hualalai Four Seasons Resort, the home boasts luxurious wood and stone finishes, offering a harmonious blend of natural elegance and modern comfort.
Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, beach essentials (towels, chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards, cooler), and thoughtful touches like a hand-carved ukulele, board games, and high-speed internet. The living room features a 60” flat-screen TV with full cable, Netflix, and a Sonos sound system. Each bedroom is outfitted with brand-new air conditioning units, a rare and cherished luxury in Hawaii along with king sized beds.

Guest Access & Privacy
Guests will have exclusive access to the entire Cottage, apart from a locked storage room in the carport. Separated by lush foliage, the Cottage is completely private and secluded from its sister property, @aolanihouse.
Additional Details
- Sound Ordinances: Aolani Coffee Cottage is a place of peace. By staying here, you agree to abide by Hawaii County’s strict sound ordinances and our STVR permits. If you’re seeking a lively party atmosphere, we’d be happy to recommend alternative accommodations.
- Rental Car Required: Located in the scenic Hawaiian countryside, a rental car is necessary to explore the area.
- Local Wildlife: Nestled in nature, you’ll hear the charming sounds of singing frogs, birds, and the occasional rooster. Light sleepers may wish to bring earplugs, they will also be provided.
Important Notes
- Smoking Policy: Smoking is not permitted inside the Cottage. A designated smoking area is available near the carport. Additional cleaning fees may apply if smoking occurs indoors.
- Holiday Stays: A 7-night minimum stay is required between December 21st and January 5th. We do not allow arrivals on December 25th or January 1st.
- Taxes: State TA and GE taxes are not included in the nightly rate.
